Jose G. Corleto is currently co-owner of Tazumal Investments LLC, focusing on real estate, and technology investments.

In his prior role, he was VP of Engineering at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) where he led the Chipset Architecture organization from November 2010 to February 2019. In this role, he was responsible for the chipset architecture of 3G, 4G, and 5G chipsets.

From 2007 to 2010 he was Sr. Director of Engineering Qualcomm where he defined a vision for a centralized QCT architecture organization, developed a system architecture process, and collaborated with other teams in the implementation.

Before that, he was Global Systems Architecture Manager for the Wireless Division of Freescale Semiconductor, later acquired by NXP. From 1984 to 2007 Jose held various IC systems design and architecture leadership positions at Motorola Semiconductor, Paging, and Cellular Sectors

He has over 35 years of experience in engineering management, system architecture, and the design of wired and wireless communications semiconductors. He is author/co-author of 40 issued and multiple pending patents.

He holds B.S. degrees in Electrical and Industrial Engineering as well as an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
